Default Bent Fab...my experience

With all the "this vendor sucks" and "that vendor screwed me" threads that seem to be popping up alot lately....is it just me, or has that really increased alot lately.... I figured I would post up about a good experience.....

I just got done ordering a bunch of fitting and tube for my project from Mark Bohlen at Bent Fab and wanted to thank him for all his time and effort.

I first met Mark last year when I made the road trip for RTTC. We went by his shop to check things out, see his projects and just BS about cars. Eventhough shops like this exist on "time is $$", he was very gracious and friendly about us hanging out and taking up his time. The projects he was building were very impressive. If I had the budget to hire someone to build a car for me, I wouldnt hesitate to have Mark build one for me. In case you dont know....he does more than bend pipe

Then early this year, my family and I were going to LA and I heard that Mark had the Sick Fish Cuda there for some work..... I love that car and it was the inspiration for me doing a Cuda, so I had to see it in person. So I called him up to see if it would be okay for us to come by and once again he was happy to oblige us. We must have been there for almost 2 hours .... thats time he took away form paying customers to let me drool over the car and talk about his other projects.

So I knew when it was getting time to start to order fittings and tube for brake and fuel lines, he was my "go to guy". Then he posted up about the "sale" he was having on the Red Horse fittings etc, I decided it was time to give him a call. We talked on the phone and walked me through a few tips and tricks and we worked out a system and the fittings I would probably need/want (knowing I will be short on some and extra on others). He gave me the absolute best prices.....lower that Summit and Jegs....AND gave me some good pointers to get me started in the right direction.

Anyway...... I cant say thank you enough to Mark for taking time out of his day and helping me out. He's been a wealth of info to me and to lots of others on this board. You cant beat the advice from someone with the knowledge, skill and experience like Mark.

So if you are looking to buy fittings and tube for your project or for someone to build a car for you or do fab work.....take a look or talk to Mark...you wont be disappointed

Good to hear. These boards are scattered with vendors who are very helpful.

I would like to see a lot more good stuff about the surporting vendor's.I think you should only come on here and dig somebody if it is the very last resort, when all else has failed.I really think that ALL the vendor's that surport this great site are all trying their best to provide qualtiy part's and service.Scott M.

Ned,

You da man !!

Thanks for the props. It always feels good to hear a compliment and not a stab. Seams there is more stabbing in this world than a good Ol pat on the back, hand shake, compliment or big THANK YOU.

Thanks again Ned and to all my Lat-G fellows
