I had gotten ahead of myself yesterday and left out several pics of earlier portions of the build.

Here are a few shots of the 454 LSX engine and firewall sheet metal work that has been done.

Another item on the cut list was the roof line of the car. Stock 66/67 Nova's tend to look like the roof is running uphill from back to front. A subtle 3/4" chop in the front along with leaning the A pillars, and pie cutting the sail panels took care of that and gave it a subtle change.







Sitting next to a stock Nova you can make out the difference in the roof line. I have better pictures some where that I will dig up showing this better.


The drip rails were also eliminated and added in a body line in their place so it wasn't a totally smoothed look.

Fab work on the rear bumper:


New, re-shaped end cap mocked up.


Completed bumper corner and rear quarter lower molding






Completed bumper and start of the rear belly pan and rear diffuser
