Shouldn't the real blame be pointed at the shop teachers in the Portland Public School system?!

I don't know.... I graduated from the Portland public school system (well actually I dropped out my junior year of HS - but I did get a GED and stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once) and I wasn't ever shown that this kind of inattention to detail was acceptable.

MARIO ---

Now you (and everyone else) can perhaps understand my frustration... I am now at the state of just shaking my head and chuckling to myself... it's like WTF.... just grab a tool and fix it... no point in stressing out. The issues with the car have all been MINOR.... but MINOR adds up after awhile. So far its been just one thing after another.

Greg,

Agreed. Incredibly short-sighted by SAR.

Bizarre.

Thanks Scott... I'm sorting out some stupid little things -- nothing major now. Kugel replaced the stub axles and made me some larger dia half shafts... but I've yet to "test them". I will...

I've found just dumb mistakes - mismatched bolts/screws... but other than that it's been very uneventful. I didn't drive it at all this weekend... since my Brother in Law is here this weekend and we're thrashing on his '69 Camaro... it's a big job - new sub - new motor - complete wiring - gutted interior etc. So I'm concentrating on getting them back on the road (so I can get my Nomad back... )

These were taken this weekend.... I slicked and painted his firewall - and the inner fenders.... and we're now at reassembly... Blown 383 made 625HP on the dyno and 581 ftlbs of TQ..
