So, when do we get to see some progress? I think we all love to look at pictures My main goal for the last month is to try to work on the car every day. No matter how small or large of a project it might be. Heck I even consider cleaning up the garage an accomplishment sometimes. If I can even get something ordered or stop by the hardware store to pick up some nuts and bolts I feel better. Small steps are better than no steps in my book.

I agree! My progress the next couple of weeks is going to be gathering parts, tools and helping my dad finish part ofhis shop so I can have a better place to work on the car. The storage unit its in is just too full of other crap.
I am picking up a replacement subframe later this week I hope (stock OE sub) and need a place to build it. It is already powdercoated and ready to go. Mine is ok but the new one is at a point to build up. No cleaning and crap of the old one. And the price is right. Its cheaper than having mine blasted and coated.

I guess my point is......i need space. Helping my dad does two things, it works out good for him since this has needed to be finished for a long time and its the kick start he needs. And it gets me space. Plus we get to hang out. He is going to help where he can on the car build to.
So I guess its turning into a grandfather, father, son build. (my son will be involved also)

I'm fairly new here so just started checking out this thread and think you made a "Great" Choice" on the color scheme

I'm guessing Red Calipers??? But the Pewter with the darker Charcoal on the hood with the red is a great choice!! Subtle, mean, and elegant! Might be cool if you match the wheel spoke shade with the dark Charcoal on the hood but then again, the black adds an additional element of color.

Glad you really thought things through and took your time as hard as that can be!

Now the car will be blue with a hood graphic. I will try to find the rendering and post it up.

Cool build Eric! Congrats on the AME frame I will be following along. As you may now know.. I have a 70 also and replied to your question over on Rons thread. I will start my build thread here shortly now that Rons car is done and heading back to SoCal. Get crackin man! Easier said than done right? Lol..
