Default That is a cool deal

Ron loves his and you can surely bang gears quickly. Jake has one in his AIX car and Vinnie is running one now as well.

Hey Payton -- yep, all 3 of those guys you mention I contacted about their experiences and advice with this trans. It's not a very long list of people running them that I could find anyway.

Jake actually runs a Jerico if I recall, but pretty much the same deal.

That's a nice write up on different options available in transmissions, a much more thorough explanation than mine.

I've ridden (but never driven) in race cars with dog change/helical cut trannys, the noise of a proper shift is pretty incredible. I'm interested to see what you think. I understand it can be an expensive learning curve to drive dog change properly...but maybe cheaper than replacing Muncies.

I agree, and I hope to get in there and learn quickly. Everyone I have talked to says shift it like you mean every... single... time. Sounds fun and hopefully not harder than it sounds. I think getting the footwork down will be the hardest part since it will be so counterintuitive.

But yes, either way... no more Muncies.

All those items your bringing so far sound great, But if you dont have a car to fill it with you'll need the Karioki Box so we can use the rest of the space as a dance floor

In other words, WHATS UP WITH THE NEW TRANS INSTALL!!
