Charlie, this will probably be my last year running track days for awhile and I would love to come out and meet you at least once before I put my car back on the shelf. I may just sign up for this one.

Which car are you bringing?

Sorry Captain., I have a 9, 11. and 12 year old that are growing to fast for me to keep up with and It's time to start dedicating more time to them.

I used to take Anthony and Nick to the NASA events because they had a mini day care deal at the track with a bounce house but I think being left alone too long turned them off.

If I could get them to regain interest maybe things will change but it looks like baseball and wrestling are taking precidence right now.

Nice another member with 3 kids, I am in the same boat with 3 kids and trying to make it all work to give everyone enough time. I have a 3, 6 and 12year old and I can see once the hit the 10y mark they don't want to be around mom and dad as a tag along as much as the younger ones. I commend you to molding around your children, its tough but well worth it as we have the rest of our lives to have our time once they go off on their own.

SOOoooooooo another family man semi taps out, found out last night I have a family event Sat night so pulling a 2day track day will not work for me. But I am a solder and thinking of pulling a day trip for Sun. What time will things be going on starting from and ending on Sun? I think it will work out better as a couple on my friends can also do a day trip more than a 2day with there family stuff they have that weekend.

I hear ya. Nothing wrong with being a good dad.

Nick, I think a day trip would be very difficult to pull off. G or Carl can correct me if NCRC is any different, but the track days I went to had drivers meetings at 7:30am and on track by 9am. Finish by 5pm give or take. Plus half the fun of this trip is everyone staying at the Motel 6 and socializing Fri and Sat nights. Still hope you can figure something out!

Nick, if your heading down for just Sunday keep in mind its at least a 4 hour drive one way. I dont know about you but I couldn't handle driving 8 hours back and forth in one day.

I'm probably camping out at the track Saturday night because I know i will have a few cool ones after the event and definitely dont think I'll be in any condition to get behind the wheel to drive back to the Motel.

Thinking about setting up a sleeping bag in one of the corner workers towers

I have to pull out also. I was only signed up for Sunday but I get back home late Saturday. I feel like a knuckle head because I thought I was signing up to run at Willow Springs not ---> Button Willow A four drive vs. a 2 hour. Have fun guy's oh and FYI if you cancel it cost you $49.00
