This is what I found... I don''t have a spal fan with mine and it works great. I was able to find a new one on ebay some one was selling. So just look around. Good luck.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: The FAN-PWM-V3 is not intended for use with fans that draw more current than 30 amps continuously. This includes (but not limited to) SPAL extreme performance fans, Ford Taurus fans and Mark VIII fans. Not compatible with SPAL fans featuring the AP71 motor. This includes part numbers 30102082, 30102049, 301048, 30102042 and 30102056. THE SPAL FAN-PWM-V3 IS INTENDED TO BE USED WITH SPAL FANS ONLY.
