Different animal here (stock subframe)but the front Z06 wheels I picked up needed 2" spacers to fit correctly which make the wheel originally a 7.5" backspace. I had my first test and tune at Thunderhill a couple of weeks ago and really noticed how much harder my front end was working. I think the 2" spacer incorporated with the hubmounting location of the Z06 wheels were putting alot of pressure on my hub, bearing and spindle due to bringing the load bearing point further away from the original mounting point.

I think what I'm really trying to say is, good job on the building execution of your car. If you plan on running your car hard, incorporate the components that are meant for that sort of work and thats exactly what you are doing.

After picking up my new lower control arms I chopped another inch off my coil springs. Floor to fender lip is 23" now. (Just a little stance hint, I'll send you a pic to give you an idea).

Car is looking sweet, keep plugging away brother......she'll be on the road never soon enough but soon.
Glad you threw down here Gae. I remember vids of you passing the field w your TT2s and have been concerned since you made the switch. It's been lots of adjustments with those spacers to what was a well set up car. I hope it works out for you as you dial it in....

Thx Bro! It's looking like we'll be done about the same time... The caliper color was a tough decision. I ordered old school, sent them back once, decided on car theme/color and satin black wheels and got them back again. Prob cost 140 in shipping for not locking down design in the first place. If I had it to do over again, I'd prob do cleared alum, red Baer logo instead of the 90's look red caliper. The black lettering did save the red a bit IMHO....

My mistake. Us PR types tend to hype.

I'm only using that avatar cuz your legal team said I couldn't go with my 1st choice below. Apparently you're a brand now?

Yeah, PR team is building the brand. Not as good as a magazine editor with a Camaro, tho... If my legal team didn't offer you a licensing agreement they're gonna need a good talking to...
