You didn't miss much Bry. Sorry, I was typing that quickie response from my phone. My process was mock up the sub and align perfectly as mentioned above, then pull it send out to pcoat, undercoat/paint the car, replace the sub, realign (easier the second time around), reassemble the car, weld back in and
then redo the color (Raptor spray in my case) on the sub. I didn't see any other way to do it unless I sent the entire car w the welded sub to the pcoater. I have seen some guys weld in the sub and then undercoat and paint.
