I know I am itching to get my hands on an older ride. I really want to fix up a 68 mustang, maybe 67. I can't find many fine examples online compared to the almighty Camaro, though. Why is this?

When you bought your cars, were you concerned about numbers matching or just a nice straight car? Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

I cant really be for sure, but my guess is that the Camaro's ability to be changed, modded and the wide variety of performance parts out there make it a good canidate for the pro-touring style. Also, GM made a boat load of first gen's, so they are relatively inexpensive and easy to find.

For me, i dont care so much about #'s matching... some do, just not me. I bought a car that was an old 6 cyl. threw a 350 in it and some other fun stuff and called it a day.

IMHO, i like to drive my cars, not stare at them.
