Default New member, with Volvo pics

I am very excited to find a website for my kind of car. Nobody in my area does this kind of stuff and I need some people to bounce ideas around.

On to the car:
78 volvo 262c
all steel body mods, fenders are +5 rear, +3 front
406 with brodix heads, all comp cams roller valvetrain
main carb is Q-jet, drag carb is demon
4L80 with manual valve body
9" rear with three link/ladder bar (four bolts to convert)
all coleman machine tubular front suspension with fab spindles
12.5" front, 11" rear brakes with Howe calipers
200 gain nitrous system
Morel/mb quart separates in custom fiberglass enclosures
RE subs in fiberglass box, all zapco amps
I remember the front seats being from an acura
kinesis 18x13 and 18x9 wheels
most of the time R1 rubber

stats:
636hp at the wheels
1/4 9.8 at 5000' elevation
weighs 3100 wet/no driver
f/r is 52/48
lots of PDX, autocross, test n tune at Reno-Fernley Raceway

That is the second killer Volvo project posted today. Cool!

That is just WRONG for SO many reasons.....I LOVE IT! lol, "dare to be different" at its finest! What on earth made you look at a Volvo and decide to do that?!

I tried to find the slowest car possible. I autocrossed it for a year and was 10 seconds slower than the next slowest car.

I spent the next 10 years with various engines, suspensions, tires/wheels etc getting it dialed in.

Nobody will ever pull up next to me and say: "I had one of those, but mine was faster"
