Default AMD glass vs Auto City glass

Which is better? Is there a difference?

69 camaro windshield from AMD=$150; Auto City=$99

Mario, why come you say that?? Not bashing just wondering, I have used a lot of Autocity glass and never had any issues. Also if you look into it I think they are from the same supplier, not positive on that but I remember seeing that somewhere.

be careful of rear quarter glass with auto city. curvature is not right. rest seem to be fine

haha, the curvature was a non issue for me when I realized the regulators they sent me were built incorrectly, with the quarter and window mounting brackets reversed!

Rick see above...^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I don't no for sure that they are by the same supplier. It seems AMD has better quality control if that makes cense.....

I don't know which one Prodigy sells but the rear quarter windows do not have enough curve to them.

check out http://psautoglass.com/ they have great glass on 2nd Gens, maybe someone has use them for 1st Gens?

just installed this week a complete set of smoked glass from autocity fit was good on a 2nd gen camaro

I have used Pilkington several times, never an issue, but as mentioned, only clear or green.

We use a different glass company (dealer only), and everything so far has been good fit wise. Right after SEMA they are releasing a DOT legal gray tint windshield to go with the smoke glass which we are anctiously waiting on for several projects.
