Default Procharger D-1sc

Hi guys, i am currently running a 509 with 10,5 cr in my camaro and would like to boost it with 5 or 6 psi. I can buy a used D-1sc. Wil this work on my engine ? I know the D-1sc is a bit small, but I am not looking for high boost.
Thanks

Not too small. It will be just fine. I would, however, be wary of running boost with that compression. An intercooler is mandatory in your case, IMO.

Thanks for your reply. I am thinking of converting to E85. If not I am gone run it on C14 or C16. Its for dragracing.

is this going to be EFI or blow thru? EFi your gonna want a intercooler for sure, blow thru you can get away with a little more.

Dutch,

I'm no supercharger expert, but I think that D-1 will be too small for your 500+ ci motor. Usually guys with 346-402 ci motors run a D-1. You may want to look into an f-1 for you application. Also, I have only read good dealings with CSU.
