Default T56 magnum & blown big block - hydraulic clutch AOK?

My 1956 chevy isn't pro touring, but this site and protouring.com have the best knowledge base using any T56 and early iron. I post mostly on PT and lurk here.

My 56 hasn't had a manual trans in it since I removed the M21 & small block in 1985. its had a T400 with several big blocks since then; I'm looking to remove my T400 and replace it with a T56 magnum kit. My mildly blown 454 will have under 650 HP.

Is there any drawback to installing the hydrauilic clutch as apposed to the old school full mechanical with the Z- bar, clutch fork etc. I sold all the clutch pedal parts long ago and need to start from scratch as far as the pedal goes. to add to complications, the engine is mounted 1-1/2 inches lower for increased hood clearance. The hydraulic will definitely be the easier install for my old sled.

The hydraulic clutch would be the easiest route, I just want to know of any shortcomings that I may encounter.
I saw this:

The car will see occasional strip use, but most impotantly allot of street and highway abuse!

Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks for the help.
