Greg,

I just found this thread and have read it all tonight. Great purchase! Have fun with it. Maybe next year I will come up with a few friends and meet up with you at Thunderhill. I ran that track for the first time a few months ago and I loved it.

Brian

I already asked Greg if he was free, and he is not, but I am headed to Thunderhill Jan 23 if you wanted to meet up Brian. It's with NCRC. I plan on getting to know that track a bit in 2012.

If it doesn't rain I should be there also.

Hey Brian --- I'd love to follow you around the track any time!

The car is a hoot! I got better and better as the event went on -- and started to pay attention to the line - and all the things you FORGET when you first get in the car...

I signed Gwen (wife) up for driving school @ Bondurant for our 32nd anniversary gift (Tomorrow)... and myself for their Grand Prix school. That should help me pick up my lap times. Remember when I asked you what times you ran? You were way faster on 200 tw tires than I was on Hosier R6's! So I have some learning to do (and some seat time)!

I will be at Disneyland with the family that weekend. Please let me know the next one you do.

Once you are comfortable with the track and car, you will right there. I have been to Thunderhill only once, and I am eager to go back. I hope to go a few times in 2012 and see you there.

Greg - Hopefully Brian will be nice and run a pace that allows you to learn the lines.

What really helped me the first time at T-Hill was the five of us taking an evening track walk discussing lines, braking and acceleration references.

Well I L O V E Thunderhill.... the track is just a hoot to drive.

Dave -- What event is Jan 23rd?? I need to move the car and trailer down closer to Texas - and that might be just the excuse I need to spot it a few hundred miles closer... LOL

Charley was going to offer me FREE INDOOR PARKING - forever - in one of his giant buildings....
