The owner told me today that this car still holds the Lap Record for a Maverick at Bridgehampton Raceway..He is still trying to find the Log book ..
his name is Brian Greck..and the car ran with EMRA..in the 80`s

Started the teardown here the front sheetmetal is removed..its surprisingly clean...

My race front sump oil pan finally showed up ..now i can install the motor and tranny..has anyone used thoes Ron Morris engine mounts they make for early mustangs ..maybe they will fit a mav????

I just picked up my Grabber hood, now I have all the parts for the outside..
I like the look of these Brazillian racing mavs..

Did that Mav break those track records running the inline 6 thats in it now? If so thats awesome. What engine do you plan on putting in the car. Im in the process of doing a 65 Mustang and rather than do the v8 swap like every other Mustang owner ive decided to build a Nasty inline 6. Im using a clifford performance kit on my factory inline 200. Its looking like it should end up with 300 hp and 420 lbs of torque. Its at the machine shop right now. Keep updating us!

I have the motor mounts, they are great, lots of adjustment. These are well built and strong. I can make any measurements if you want.

Yes but I removed it ..I am keeping it for the future .. im going with a 302as i do not have to cut or do any major mods to get it in there.....Thanks
