Leave the roof alone. This is being built as a badass driver, not a show queen.

Maybe it got said, but if you're trying to make it like the AMG S63, why not use that engine? It would fill that engine bay perfect. But I understand you're probually just trying to show the LS bolt in of the chassis, and go with a proven platform probually huh? The 7 speed and new 5.5 bi-turbo motor in the 2011's would be wicked...

If we were building a Riddler car - that would be "the ticket" - but we're building an "every mans" car - one that can be built by anyone... that is friendly that way. LS/blower motor - simple crate stuff - A chassis from Ironworks - nothing too trick in the body - some billet stuff for "bling" and to make it a bit 'wow' - but not overdone...

BTW -- a replacement motor for my car is like $53 GRAND.... and at that price - I'd buy something really badass unless Mercedes was going to be a sponsor!

No plan to wack the roof. But we might chop the windshield just a bit but not lower the overall height. I have thought about rolling the top of the windshield line forward just a bit, kinda give it the hair club for men treatment. In other words get rid of the balding man look they can tend to have.

Sounds like a smart fix for that hereditary condition that plagues all bubbleheads.

In the rendering (which I know do not always convey even a close representation of the vehicle), it looked like the top has been chopped.

So I wanted to see if that was intentional or not. Thanks for clearing that up.
