Default auto to manual wiring

Ive just installed a t56 into my 69 camaro.. i didnt remove or tamper with any wiring during the conversion.
The only wires ive disasembled are the ones from the b&M shifter which are now hanging ,, what id like to know is any of these wires connected to my solenoid that could possibly stop it from getting power?
I get no power to my solenoid at all , all fuses are good ,,

so does the auto / console wiring have to be changed or spliced or?

thanx , Gav

The heavy guage wires (PL PW) are for the neutral safety switch (park position safety switch) they need to be connected if I memory serves me right.

thanx seig ,, thats a great diagram ...

i havnt tried to splice the 2 purples together as yet..

i have a Pink & an Orange wire that are live , so what happens is when i touch either O or P wire to the Purple it will start the car with ignition off?
It seems to bypass the keyed ignition.
Both the purple wires have no power ever , even when key is in 'on' position.

As I recall the pair in the plug that connected to the shifter switch are the one's that need to be joined. I'm no electrical expert by any means and who knows how many "electricians" have worked their magic on any given Camaro over the years...........

Just looked for a picture of my console loom and couldn't locate one......sorry

2 purple is your neutral saftey. tie them together. however, they probably should be moved tot he clutch pedal with a switch so the car won't start unless clutch is depressed.

Ill have to build and entire harness for the transmission then, there was no wiring with it at all when i got it. any suggestions on how. I have a AAW harness and a Mast harness and computer, I had a local shop wire it all up, 1200.00 and they didnt even wrap or loom it up and took them 3 months to do it. Anyways enough complaining.
