Hey Wayne,
I measured up our setup tonight. It's approx 8 3/8" from front lip of intake to top of throttle body. With the air cleaner on it's a hair shy of 11". The air cleaner has 1 1/4" drop base which barely hovers over the rails. We'll see if there's enough air flow this spring.

No real progress to show for the weekend. I've mostly been gathering parts for the fuel system. I'm also scratching my head on where/how to mount the ecm and route the harness. I'd like to keep things clean looking.

Made a couple aluminum brackets yesterday. Slso started cleaning up some of the wiring and hoses in the engine bay and under the dash. I think I found a good spot to mount the ECM under dash. Hopefully will get to that part soon.

You've got some cool things that are being changed on the car and I'm liking the transformation. Good stuff.

Slowly picking away at it. Finally got up the nerve to cut a hole in the firewall. After locating where I wanted it I drilled just the 1/4" center hole first. Then I attached the hole saw and ran the bit backwards to cut through the paint/filler. Then slowly cut the 2" hole. It didn't go as bad as I feared it could.

I mounted the Holley HP ECU under the dash up where the original center speaker should go. I need to beef up the mounting a little bit and clean up the under dash wiring but think this location should work.

With the birth of our first child (Jacob) last February and a busy year with work there has not been much Camaro time. Jacob came 6 weeks early and it’s been a wild ride ever since then. I'm glad to report everyone is doing well. It’s hard believing that he’s almost a year old.

The Camaro did not leave the garage in 2012. Definitely need to get it out this year. I’m taking some time off work at the end of the week to get a few to-dos checked off. Thought I’d post up a couple older pics to get myself psyched up.

The last thing I did was get the Rick’s tank mounted. I plan to work on the fuel lines and tank venting this week.

If all goes well I will be posting up some updates on Sunday.

Whatever you do, do not round the corners on that bracket. Apple will sue you for it

If I do it, I'll make sure to take the pic with my Samsung Galaxy S3.
