Default evo 10 brembos?

i happen to aquire a set of front lancer evo 10 brembo calipers and i was wondering if any has look into using them on a first gen camaro, or 3rd gen nova. i was looking at them for posibly my nova which is running 17 in wheels and being able to fit them with a 12 in rotor. i was thinking possibly rotor off of a 4th gen ls camaro. i havent had a chance to see if they fit inside of the 17 in camaro wheels or even the 16in wheels. i maybe able to borrow a friends camaro to do some test fitting with 16 and 17in wheels and stock rotors. from what ive seen the evos have a 11.6 in rotor and stop pretty darn good. anyone have any info. or am i better off selling em and just going with a c4/c5 brake setup?

If I'm not mistaken, the Lancer Ralliart uses an 11.6" diameter rotor...the Brembo equipped Evo X uses a 14" rotor and will require at least 18's with thick pads for caliper clearance. I just supplied a local guy with a full new set of DBA 5000/4000-series rotors and Hawk pads and they looked an awful lot like the Brembo calipers used on the 2004-2007 CTS-V, 2010 Camaro SS, etc...and the pads were the same. The thing stopped quite well, although had an annoying squeak with the HP Plus compound pads that we chased for a while and could never completely eliminate.

ok thanks for the info i wasnt sure myself it did look like the rotors were bigger but i didnt measure. i might try and see how they fit on the 12" rotors anyways. probly wont work, and ill end em selling the calipers and sticking to my original c4/c5 brakes i was planning on putting on.
