This was my concern, the potential fall out from my lack of attendance.

I would consider canceling my other obligation for an appearance fee.

Did you just say Appearance fee. I thought a guy like you might have a lack of Appearance fee. But maybe clowns at birthday parties are coming back into style once again.

FYI - Don't tell Kelly about the lack of appearance fee, She might take you up on that.
