Default Strip Galvinize to paint?

I got some floor plugs from Rick's First gen, they are galvanized . Is there an adhesion promoter I can use to paint them so the paint will stick or do they need to be stripped when the paint is going? I don't want the galvanized to show on the bottom. plus two are for the trunk where the top also shows.
Thanks.

Wayne, just use a self etch primer and you will be fine. Scuff them good and let them flash for a good 15 minutes then spray with your spatter paint for the trunk side and what ever you used for the under side of the car.
