Well I intended to go talk to him but never made it.... I was gonna walk up and say first thing "what day and year did you paint this thing?"

Thanks bud. In a sea of bad ass cars there, thanks for noticing mine. And I am kinda forced to like Mustangs I guess... plus Maier's Mustang doesn't hurt.

Dave, glad to hear your health was good enough to make the event!
Also, good to hear the motor didn't just let go! Sounds like you were creative and made it to all the events! Good deal!

Your a good driver, the videos show that! You just need to iron out a couple details, like the motor problems, and put down a perfect lap. Your day is coming my friend!!

So do you think inhaling oily smoke might be a newly discovered cure?

Please tell Sue I'm done entertaining her now!

Get off the Internet and "get busy"!

Hmm... oily smoke... you might be on to something there. I like it.

Suzie Q asks where did Ben Stein go to next?

Sorry you had issues with your car and hope your health is OK (a day at the races is always the best cure)

As I am sure you know....excessive overheating can cause ring failure, kills the valve springs etc . And If the oil gets hot enough, It will break down and will not lubricate the cylinder walls, bearings and just kills them.

With the temps you described, I would say you collapsed your rings, maybe scorched a piston and your cylinder walls are now distorted.. aka out of round. Your low oil pressure may be due to the bearing clearances opening up due to the excessive heat

Your car sounds awesome !!! I'm sure you'll make her bigger and badder then it is now

And its about to get even more with what you said is being cooked up at the renowned BMF Labs.
