I would not mind a 6.1 but they are just too expensive for me. It would be great to get a 6.1 and then later on find an aluminum block to cut 100 pounds off the car. I have a budget to finish up the car and a 6.1 would just about eat all that up. I can get an 09 5.7 locally for $1700 or so. I was just watching a video on FAST's site and it said that the 2.0 can manage VVT. Still no email reply from them but hopefully will hear back soon. I also liked their system since it can easily handle power adders and have 4 different tunes I can control with a switch in the car.

Hot Wire Auto also mentioned that the 09 has a short runner solenoid. Did you run into that? and were you able to maintain it?

The Mopar/AEM ECM just seems stupid expensive....2 grand?? and I do not think I am getting near the stuff I could get with the 15-1800 XFI 2.0

I really do not want to get rid of VVT or MDS tho. This car will never see a trailer on purpose from what I figure. I want to drive it everywhere so obviously MPG will eventually come up so I would like it to be decent. I guess that if I had to choose one, i would prefer VVT

Something else that I am thinking tho is that the MDS works (as Im sure you know) but collapsing 4 of the lifters thus not letting those intake valves open. All the ECM would have to do is know when this happens and then turn off those 4 injectors. It could still fire the coils but the AFR read but the O2 sensors will be the same
