Default Steve!

Loved your last blurb...that is one for the books. I am sure that someone will steal it and put it in print and call it their own...but I heard it here first.

I personally am going for a little of all three...Pro-resto-fighter.

If I can butcher Busta Ryms lyrics...a lady on the street and a freak at the the track.

It's hot rodding so there are no rules. It's more of a pendulum thing. How the individual cues are applied will usually swing the car's identity one way or the other. Steve Strope could have installed carpeting in the Charger and it's identity would be intact.

Bad Penny is a perfect example: It doesn't matter what color Steve Rupp chooses for the perfectly smooth firewall, she will still be a pissed off, misbehavin' little streetfighter. At the same time the Mule has a serious roll cage, crazy power and forged wheels, but the car sets a benchmark for traditional pro-touring. Bill Howell's GTO has tons of serious hardware (blown small block, Global West, Wilwood, QA-1), but it leans heavily towards the mod rod theme.

Just remember that Brad Pitt dumped Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie.

That is well thought out car imo, just enough to grab your attention and more than enough to put you in the rear view mirror
