Nice.

It's not that small for a 386 cube motor according to the custom carb tuners I've talked to recently. Could it be bigger? Sure, but I stressed maintaining throttle response and low end crispness. In CFM terms (which is the wrong way to rate or look at carbs I've learned) it's probably between 800 and 900 if it was flowed. That's not small to me. My venturi and throttle bore sizing is consistent with 400 inch motors making 650-700 hp. Got that from 2 sources.

Lemme guess, you have a combined 2000 CFM on your double dueler.

Just messing with you while my assembler wounds heal.

Right now I only own a list 8082 1050 dominator for my single plane manifold.

My builder has a set of duals he knows run well that I am borrowing for the dyno session with the double dueler. I think he actually stars with 3310 bodys when he build them. I know he is also bringing a set of 660 center squirters.

Killer. Your motor might be the only one on this site I am as excited about as mine.

In my 18 degree head research I found this cylinder head company and these valve covers they make. I really wanted a set but they only make them in BBC and declined my request to make a set for SBC.

Damn, I must have missed that. I hate to admit it, but I was probably trying to give Todd a run for his money by posting pictures of my broken engine with my Camaro build I'm afraid of what I might read through clicking back 10 or so pages. I'll check it out when I'm feeling brave!

Matt

p.s. I have a new intake manifold on the way, and while it isn't a carb, I'll be sure to post pictures of it for you right here, just like FETorino did.
