Default Anybody ever been to the 24 hrs of Le Mans

I am traveling to Germany next week for work but flying thru Paris. I left couple extra days on my dime in France on the tail end 15th and 16th and figure I'll catch the train to Le Mans.

Anyone have any personal experience with that event?

No but it's on the bucket list. We were trying to go this year and the timing didn't workout. Go Team Corvette. If you catch it, post up some picks and details.

What an awesome opportunity!

All I know is that the 'infield' is supposed to be a gigantic 24 heuer party.

That's killer Rob! Just don't tell anyone you're building a high dollar Torino. They might kick you in the ding-ding.

I bet most of them wouldn't know what an old Ford looked like, except maybe the back of a GT40.

Rob, I can't believe you're debating going. Just go... And take pictures. Greg should be back from Europe by then and we'll need something to look at.

Default Speed limits in Germany

They are defiantly a little more liberal. The heads up on the BMW Alpinia tuner car said 302 at the peak just after I snapped this photo.

Been there done that. It is a easy good time. We slept in the car and went to the race. No problem and a lot of fun. The only problem with France is it is full of French people.

You should also do the 24 hour of the Nurburgring. Even better. Less French people.

I have been to the 12 hour in Sebring mulitple times. Its my favorite event I have ever been to. (I assume the 24 would be better minus the French people)
