The motor is for a pretty cool project we are working on:

http://www.delahayeusa.com/bellafiguracoupe.html

http://www.delahayeusa.com/bellafigu...dstershop.html

The motor is a V16 loosely based on a BBC design. Heads and intake are LS based but re-worked for more HP. Cast aluminum block, crank, pistons etc. There were only 2 of these in the world which were built for an offshore power boat. They were originally around 1700hp and pushed the boat to a record close to 200mph but this one has been de-tuned to 1000hp for the car!

We ended up getting a little carried away with this truck recently. The original plan was to build it as a a cruiser with some AutoX capabilities. Our Mustang track car is not completed yet and needed something to play with for the beginning of the summer so....

We pulled out the 400 HP LS6 and replaced it with a 565 HP LS3. Pulled out the 9" and installed a Speedway Mod Lite Floater with Wave Trac posi. Changed the 225 front tires to 345's and the mini-tubbed the bed to replace the current rear 295's with 345's as well. Adding almost 10" of rubber to the front end of the truck should make a pretty significant difference!

Sounds like you're stepping that truck up a notch. Put that Boss9 out of the Fairlaine in it and it will really run.

A few more updates on the C-10 now that it is just about wrapped up.

Out with the old.....

In with the new... Turn Key Engines 585 HP LS3 and TKO-600. And a little bit of tire in there as well!

New Speedway Mod Lite floater with Wilwood 13" brakes.

Mini-tubbed the bed to get the wider tires int eh back and then finally got around to bed lining it for a nice clean finish.

345/30R19's on Forgeline's on the front. Full turning radius, no modifications to the body or suspension, and 13.8" of rubber on each side!

A nice comparison of the original front tires and the new front tires.
