Default Lost a family member this last week.

This last week has been a tough one for me and my Loved ones. My girlfriend and soon to be mother of my child lost her Father. We have been together for over 7 years and although not married I am part of the family. This has especially been hard cause my child will never get to know their grand father.

Her father has been the only Dad out of all the females I've dated who has been a car guy and a Ford guy at that! how many of you have received a 9" housing for christmas? or a rear disc brake conversion I did!

All Bull **** aside he is a great man and was a great friend and will be missed!!

My girlfriend was given his car this last weekend and it will be 6 months to a year before we get it here to this state.I do look forward to keeping it alive for the family( the family wants us to keep it and maintain it, so that the siblings may also enjoy the car when they are in town visiting) to see and enjoy here is a couple pics i snapped before storing it. its a 70 cougar std,351 cleavland,tko600, currie 9" and 4 wheel disc brakes, black on black.

Thanks guys, and sorry for the facebook post.

Very sorry for your loss.

My wife lost her dad several years ago and I think about the same thing you do - our girls never got to meet him. We try to tell them plenty of good stories about him though. - - as I'm sure you will.

Sorry for your Loss..

Life can be brutal sometimes..We just have to keep moving, because that is what they would want us to do.

My Wife lost her father on father's Day...Just how life is sometimes..

Glad you are keeping his car..RIP...

My condolences to you and your girlfriends family.

It was nice of them to put you in charge of keeping a family heirloom like that in running order.

Sorry for your loss, its got to be really hard on your girl friend especially at this time. I hope you all get to enjoy many long happy days in the car together. My prayers go out to all of you.
