I trashed a fender two years back and the company drove across state lines to replace it in my driveway, saved me a 2 1/2 hr trip to them. I pull the 26ft with a 3/4 ton single axle truck with no problems.

I turned a buddy on to Poulsen when he wanted a TAG trailer... and he was super pleased with Dave and his new trailer is beautiful!

The guy that built my Mustang has an ATC trailer and I was really really impressed at the quality. What I can't get past is the typical oak cabinets and stuff that they use... Thus the decision to go with a Moduline type cabinet in the living space... Frankly it'll make it totally usable -- hassle free - and actually kinda fun and a little different.

With SS counter tops etc I can even let Charley inside.

I didnt know oak cabinets were an option from ATC, maybe they changed there options over the last couple of years. My interior cabs are aluminum. (not moduline but nice) which were part of the package.

One thing Greg- check out what screws they are using lately to mount the marker lights, plate holder, etc. Mine have surface rusted. They did not use ss fasteners in those areas on my model year.

Dave ---

Of course we're talking two different kinds of trailers.... the oak cabinets are the base cabinets used in the LIVING QUARTERS area...not the garage area of these trailers.

I can upgrade to Maple natural, cherry stain, or black...but just thought it would be more fun to do the toolbox look.

They use C-TECH cabinets -- and I've spec'd those out throughout the trailer.

Glad to see you were able to pick up something that meets your needs. Look forward to a cool one inside it one day.

I'd really like to get this RIGHT - the first time... so I'm looking for your help on pluses and minuses -- things you'd never do - and things you wish (unlimited check book items) that you had.

Trailer is ATC 40' - with 14' living qtrs... triple axles (spread axles) - all black - .050 rivetless skin... gooseneck.

I'm looking for ANY ideas - brakes - landing gear dos and don't - interior ideas - bigger liv qtrs - smaller? Built ins?
if you hate having a bigger trailer because it became a PITA - or do you wish you'd have gone a bit bigger?

Totally open discussion.
I figured you would hire guido to trailer your cars to the event and you helicopter in on race day.

Sometimes an old addled brain takes awhile to get to the right way of thinking...

I've ordered the trailer -- From Poulsen in Logan Utah...

50' ATC Gooseneck - 14' of living qtrs - 28' garage space - C-tech cabinets - diesel generator - heat and A/C - triple spread axles - on air ride - with air over disc brakes.

I ordered the truck from SportTruckRV - in Chandler Az

Got a Freightliner M2 - 112 (bit longer) with a 470 hp DD13 with 1650 Ft lbs of torque. Allison 4000 TRV tranny - air ride front and rear axles - glad hands for the air in the trailer and the trailer brakes... on spot chain deployment system and the coupe de gras... 4 air seats. Took the bench out of the back and put in two more air seats and a console from front to back with separate A/C for the rear.

Ordered everything in WHITE... bag the fancy colors...
