Love the build , my first car was a 72 and I would love do build one , that looks to be a 74 by the bumper mounts and body lines behind the rear side window

This is really cool

Do you have any plans for the big bumpers?

"Where's the rest of your car.... Toots" (Old Gremlin Commercial)

Cool build and glad it's staying AMC powered. They were actually very successfull in IMSA road racing back in the day.

Good luck

We don't have all the aesthetics worked out yet. Since the car is essentially body-dropped, the motor sits too high for the hood. We are using a very low-profile air-cleaner setup, but still need about one inch of clearance.

We're also tossing around ideas for a rear spoiler...

The timeline of these photos might be a little off...

But better late then never, right?

I asked the owner about the bumpers and he said he plans to simply delete them.

And regarding the hood, he said he's on the hunt for a fiberglass cowl hood.

Here is an earlier version of the car Schwartz is putting together This thing rocks... or should I say it's groovy

It has a bit of a cowl hood on it too, I've not seen another like this before.
