Marty,

Is this what you had in mind when you asked Rodger about building cars for vertically challenged guys?.....

This is a slightly modified Fiat 126. The other pics I posted above are of a 126 as well.

I'm not sure if the tall guy could build something that low. Of course he could raise up the frame table so his back wouldn't hurt so much

So I had rough night last night. Got caught up in pretty much every incident on the track it seemed. Car had to be pushed off the track after I got tangled up with a some driver development Nascar super star fund raising for his charity. He hit me so hard in the side my radiator slid over a few inches and wrapped the shroud up in the fixed fan and the car would not restart. There was 2 laps left in the race at that point.

So when I got out of the car I noticed the left front was pretty badly cambered in. Well I'm guessing this is the cause.

Got the body torn off the drivers side to pull out the body bars and be ready for Saturday in 2 weeks.

I ended up 14th out of 21 for the night.

Do you ever plan on running Ventura, Perris or Victorville?

Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

I have heard Ventura is pretty small, But if they get some hobby stock racing going I might give it a Whirl.

I would love to race in that big Hobby stock race Thanksgiving weekend, But I might let someone else drive my car that weekend.

I thought Victorville was no longer running.

At this point I'm pretty happy just running Bakersfield. I'm learning alot.

That to, but just a much different method. I have learned you don't always need big fancy tools. You can do a lot with a big rubber mallet and 2 size 15 shoes.

But I have learned alot about driving loose.....And then the difference between putting 1 half inch wheel spacer on the left and 2, is night an day.

We have been hearing rumors that V-ville is coming back I believe we even have a race there later this year. Keep up the good work
