hey heres my impala im working on in my opinion 58-70 were the best after 70 it all went downhill i look forward to updates

Nice looking Impala. Like the stance.

I couldn't agree with you more. My first car when I was in high school was a 67 Impala SS 396 4 speed. Bought it for $243. I like my impalas.....

thanks only problem with the stance is it needs to be 2 inches lower since in the photo its in the grass

it should clear around here though most are only 4.5 inches tall so the 2 inch drop should work out fine teeehee

if only i had the $ im going to get coilovers so i have some adjustability i work in a dirt floored 4 bay garage so getting on the ground doesnt bother me haha here you can spot the rust to the front of the weel opening and i done some exploration on the bottom of the fenders and it looks like they will need a small patch like you stated this is all original sheet metal so im coming out pretty good for a North Carolina car plus it was bought and owned local

Tom, have you seen Red Sled that was done on the Speed channel "Musclecar" show?
It was pretty cool, the chrome was painted similar to what was mentioned. It might be worth looking up for some inspiration.
