Do think it would work with a 10.5 ft ceiling?

I was enveous of the lift, then the second picture that took care of that. Awesome bunch of cars. I'd like to get a 4 post lift for my garage someday. Nice set up.

I am sure it would fit but the door tracks would be a problem and you probably wouldn't be able to open the door with a car on the lift. I thought about buying one and that was my dilemma.

same here!! it was going to cost as much to redo the garage door etc and get a new opener as the lift itself.

I can measure for you, I think 10.5ft would work because it seems like I have at least 1.5ft of room above the chevelle. The good thing about this lift is it comes with wheels that you can pop on with a pin in about 5mins and move the lift around easily. I can send anyone that wants the dimensions of it, I measured about 10x and actually laid out the footprint before I bought mine. Haha, I am overly anal though. Thanks for the comments guys!

You can actually use the same door, but have the track repositioned to go up on an angle towards the ceiling for more clearance for about $150. I checked with my local garage door company before I purchased just to see what the options were in case I wanted to do that...

You can do a lift with 10' ceilings. Easy enough to take a tape measure and measure how high each car is. The platform on the lift is about 6" and you need another probably 3" for the lift to lift above it's final position because of it's safety catches.

If i'm not mistaken, you can also convert the garage door to a commmercial type where it coils up...expensive, but when space is limited. cost per sq ft equation...Mike

Here is a pic of Jackass. The tape is at 10' and the roof is a few inches below it. I took the pic from a ladder. I have 61" between the floor and the bottom of the hoist. The Nova in the background measured 55" tall.
