Hey Chris,

Gorgeous build man...

This may sound ridiculous but what did htye use in the trunk to get that shape? Looked like cardboard in the earlier pics...

Also, is that wood on the door panels? I'm just looking for ideas on my own build.

Forgot how awesome Rushforth wheels were. I cannot wait to finally get my set for my build.

Keep up the great work!

Dave

thanks Dave- the trunk is a combination of wood, aluminum and fiberglass mold. Just like the headliner. The main piece is a glass mold while the sail panels are aluminum.

That is one sweet 66!!

Here's my 66, not quite as nice as yours!

You said your car will be at SEMA?? What booth will it be at? I'd love to swing by and see it.

I work for TMI Products, www.tmiproducts.com and we will be there in booth #23893. My 1966 Chevelle will be there on display as its now a company vehicle.

Very nice- if TMI is in the same spot I will be right around the corner in the Dynomax booth against the back wall, please stop by and say hi.

love your products- I use them often. I just had a guy that is bringing in a 65 Impala- do you do anything for them yet?

We are against the back wall as well. We are in space #23893, slightly different spot than last year.

Nothing for Impala YET! I sure hope they do soon.

Default 150 pics loaded up

Well I am finally getting used to navigating my website. Here is 150 build pics of the car. I'm pretty stoked, Craig Morrison stopped by to shoot it for the 2013 catalog.

The pics are still a little out of order but you get the idea- thanks!

Thanks for the pics. Website looks nice. Start a build thread here on the white 69 Camaro in the "projects" section you are working on.

Default post SEMA fixes

well it's time to fix a few things on the car that we weren't happy with and get it wrapped up so we can beat on it this summer.

The Electromotive EFI unit got replaced with a newer user friendly Holley HP unit.

so we pulled the interior and Nelson intake apart...again. [IMG][/IMG]

while we were at it, we installed power windows using the factory window cranks

Default new console

The trim around the console never fit right so Josh Ewing built a new one.

How did you and Josh Ewing hook up. Josh and Tim Bruning used to work together. I went to his shop and Josh is the one who did my inner fenders for me. He has some nice equipment in his shop. Very talented guy. The bikes he does custom work on is very impressive.
