Couldn't stop the bleeding enough for super glue, texted pictures to a surgeon friend for confirmation. Due to heavy lifting work demands I may have suture it in the am if the butterfly closure doesn't stabilize it enough to rebond. Darn K9 teeth!

Rev's got a clean mouth Jer I flushed it with Bactine, then swabbed w/ betadine, applied steri-strip, covered with Hypafix tape, then cut a finger out of a surgical glove for a cot. Good to go. For some reason it's a little sore today.

Dog bites often do more outright damage, but only 3 to 18 percent become infected. In contrast, cat bites may appear more trivial, but up to 80 percent of cat bites may become infected if proper care is not taken.
I like those odds I've also made conscience effort over the last 30 years to work my immune system naturally.........being excessively clean doesn't exercise and strengthen your imune system. Flu shots are one example.
