HANS is definitely on the "look into" list.... if this was a dedicated track car doing things every weekend I think that would seal it. But I plan to autoX and street drive as much as I can as well. We shall see.

Got a bucket load of parts from North Carolina coming in next week... can't wait.

All it takes is one time buddy and you're done ... It was hard for me to justify spending $700+ on something that won't make me go faster or win more. BUT I/you can't go fast or win if we're dead or paralyzed (knock on wood) Now come up with another stupid excuse

I wear this on the dirt bike:

It's the first gen Leatt mostly carbon composite and carbon fiber. It was $599 about 5 years ago. It took about 3 rides to get it adjusted properly and adapt to it, now I don't even notice it. There's been two incidents that I'm very glad I had it. If they don't save your life or paralysis they save you the pain of serious neck strain in an incident.

I can confim this...11 years ago September I broke my back racing motocross. Spent 2 years in a wheelchair. I am one of the very very fortunate cases that regained some mobility and currently can get by with the assistance of a cane and the use of leg braces on both feet that allow me to walk short distances. I will never regain the use of my legs or feet from the knees down. So any and all safty precautions are worth the money.

Not pretty.
Crazy what goes on inside of a race car during a crash

Default Christmas in October

It was a nice UPS day. 4 big boxes of goodies.

If Rob's 4 stages are good, 2 more have to be better.
