Depends on how close you are and if you plan to run any heat shields. The basic answer is yes - you will see damage from heat. Once the surface temp exceeds the cure temp of the resin in the panel - it will soften and then the resin will begin to boil off leaving dry fabric. If the temp gets to close/high you will set the resin on fire. You'll need to use protective wraps or heat shields of some type.
If the original cure of the panel was at room temp, or cured at high temp, or post cured at high temp will tell you what the temp operating range you should protect th surface from.
