[QUOTE=Al Moreno;444088]Few more.....

Al, do you know if those heat shield blankets/banding are available for purchase anywhere or were they custom made? I need to get me some of them

You can get stainless zip ties. Not quite like those bands.

That exhaust does not look cheap. But does look VERY functional. I WANT.

Yeah those exhaust heat shields look pretty similar to the ones you can buy from Summit/Jegs or anywhere else. The nice touch is the way they are hooked on the pipes, the normal ones just have little hooks where you slide through a hose clamp which works fine but doesn't look quite as ncie or elegant as these.

I'm also curious about the hod heat shielding - is that a common Nascar heat blanket ? It looks like that lava stuff so its probably very expensive but if anyone has a link to something like that let me know.

Also, does anyone recognize the hood pins used on the Mach 40 ? I'd like to look into those as well ?

The mach 40 has encouraged me to solve my overly large fender flare problem i in a big way. The delivery man just dropped off an extra passenger door as mine ended up being too rusty - between my other spare door and the good quality driver door and the original pass door this will be the 4th '67 Mustang door I have cut in half in less than a week. I already have the drivers door welded up and it looks good. It is really amazing how little your eye notices the difference. Really looking forward to the change in look for my car.

[QUOTE=Al Moreno;444085]By Far my favorite car of the show!!! It's neat to see the race car thyme in a world of Foosified cars. The attention to detail was noting short of amazing.

Amen even better in person
