Default 69 Camaro subframe???

I have a 69 camaro and I am looking at installing the Chicane kit from speedtech as well as the UCA, LCA, sway bar, and ats steering box. I am also looking at installing the torque arm rear suspension.

One of my questions is would I be better off purchasing the speedtech subframe and doing without the torque arm suspension?

If I go with the chicane kit, what type of work should I do to the front stock subframe to help reinforce it? I have heard of people gusseting the frame, but where would you put the reinforcing?

The car is going to be a sunday cruiser and I probably will not be in any auto cross/PT events. I just want to be able to push the car on the road and have it handle like a newer vehicle.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

my opinion??
if you could choose one or the other, I would do the Chicane and Torque arm, if down the road you want to upgrade to the sub frame your stock sub with the Chicane and related parts would be an easy sale.
The Torque arm is such a major improvement ( not that the sub frame isnt) that is the way I would suggest to go, we have done alot of these and everyone has been happy with the combo.
