Default Thoughts on Global West Front Tubular Control Arms

I came across a deal for Global West front tubular control arms and QA1 coil overs. Any thoughts on the quality of these control arms? I have heard of some problems with alignment (excessive shims to getalignment correct). Oh by the way its for a 68 Chevelle. Trying to get a pro touring theme going. Right now its got stock suspension all around. I am on a tight budget and will be upgrading as money comes in. I want to do the front this winter and maybe a brake upgrade. This is a street car, not an auto cross or drag car. I may like to try auto cross a few times but that's about it. Also will I need the tall b body spindle to change the caster/camber? Thanks for any help or ideas you may have.
