I am completely stunned!
Finaly some nice wheels at a price that wont break the bank.... I was looking for something nice to put under my 67 Chevelle and could not come to paying (again) close to 10 grand (with tires) for a set of Forgeline's. Thing is, i could not find anything i liked or that screamed the "high end" look i want. My last experience with buying ultra expensive wheels has left me with the impression that its too expensive to build a car the way i want it and sent me back to Pro Street style.
Now, having sold my Camaro's and gotten the Chevelle (currently on Weld Aluma star 2.0's) i am stating to feel the itch to drive the car a little more and leaning to Pro tour it some (especially after seeing Chris Jacob's car!!) and that is what got me to check out some wheel...albeit some on a reasonnable budget.
Dont get me wrong, i fully understand that there is a justification for the price of a set of 3 piece wheels and i knew it when i paid for the aforementionned Forgelines in the past, i just cant come to spending so much on wheels when i can get the same look and job for a fraction of the cost... They go for anywhere from 200$ (18 x 8 ) to a max of about 425$ (19 or 20 x 10.5/11) so do the math...
Tought i'd share my finding with you guy's.
Try it out and let me know what you think!!
