Default In the market for some real seats, what seats look best in a Mustang Fastback?

getting out of my car with a sore back is getting kina old and I want to install new seats ASAP. I cant decide which direction to do. I want something of the best quality and support since I have lumbar back issues my seats are critical to my enjoyment. Another issue I do not live near a store to go test fit seats so that makes it even harder for me.

I have not come across an array of seats in Classic Mustangs and if anyone can post some photos in this thread or send me a link to some killer seats please do.

Default Seats

For the money, these are a great seat and keep the look of that car. They are made by Procar, and are called the Rally seat. I have them in my '68 Camaro and love them.

yeah the pro cars seem to be very popular and affordable. i wish there was someone local or a store i can sit in them. from seeing photos i am not sure if they would fit me well since i am thin. seats are very tricky for me to fit properly. today i was in a friends 96 Ferrari 355 and those seats fit me like a Glove, i think those are a Recaro LS styled seat.

The ProCars are too uncomfortable for me. I always use Recaro but when I purchased a car with ProCars the difference was night and day.

While I appreciate the ProCars being less expensive, if you can afford Recaro buy Recaro.

The Recaro seat styles I used in my 65 Fastback were the ones I listed below. The seat in the first link I used in a 65 (recovered in black leather) and then remounted them in a 71 Fastback since they looked great. I then also used the seats in the second link and they also looked great so then I transferred them onto a 70 Fastback. Both of these seats fit the interior well without issues but the upper bolsters come close to the door panels.

Finally, The last link show a Honda S2000 seat I also used and it was very comfortable and they fit the car great. I ended up selling the car with these seats. I made a custom center console and matched the rear seat cover and the whole interior looked awesome.

Just imagine them in the color of your present interior.

I am a rep for Cipher Racing seats and have them in my car. After trips of over 200 miles with no stopping I can exit the car with no aches or pains. They're great. If you have any questions on them, let me know. I can get you a better cost than what's advertised on the site too.

Well i ordered some Corbeau GTS2 in black leather today i can not wait to get them

I sat in a Ferrari 355 again today and those are Recaro LS based seats and after doing a ton of research the Corbeau is a replica of that style so I am assuming it will work perfect for my build and frame.

Il post up some photos next week when i get them installed. my back is KILLING me after driving my car all weekend with the stock seats, they SUCK
