EGG ZAKERTLY!!

I've owned everything -- and if I haven't owned it - I've worked on it or built it... and I love hi tech -- and I love corner carvers (own one!) and all that.... but give me a nice summer afternoon -- and I'll choose the hot rod every time. Until you've owned one -- you just can't "relate".

I have yet to actually get my little offbeat hot rod on the road but somehow I relate to this. I just hope I feel like that when I finally get it out of the shop and into the sunshine... Until then, simply seeing it in the shop definitely fills the need better any of my previous projects.

Actually watching Greg work through the issues, and finally give his impressions of driving the 32, helped me remember why I started building mine and keep pushing through when I was almost burned out and ready to throw in the towel...

Hey Greg I have a couple questions in regard to dealing with Brizio's.

Was there a waiting period before he could get you car in the shop? With such amazing high quality work and that reputation I would think he would have a waiting list.

Any talk of a time period for the build? What are the expectations?

If you want an awesome looking and styled hot rod, as well as a great driver then there isn't much better a choice than Roy. Plain and simple I am jealous! Nice choice in a car and style.

That is my friends car, same driveway I took delivery of my Camaro back in '89.

Lincoln Navigator drivetrain, notice the bulge at the front of the louvers to clear the heads.

The car gets driven on long-hauls.

Glenn ---

Oh hell yes there's a waiting list!! I gave him a deposit to HOLD A SPACE last JUNE -- right after the L A Roadsters show... at that point he ordered a body -- then we started talking and looking at pics etc -- and when we had a style and look -- he ordered just the frame rails....

It got on the frame table a week ago....

It will be ready for the L A Roadsters show ----- JUNE 2014.

Not as bad as I would have thought on either end of that deal. Of course that time will feel like it's taking forever. And, I expect this thread will be up in the hundreds of pages by then. Good luck with the car!

His shop is very methodical -- it's a real business and is run like one. He's there to crank out killer cars AND make money doing it. It's like a swiss watch. The shop is chalk a block full of cars -- most repeat customers just building "another Brizio" -- I'm the "newb". But he treats you with the utmost respect - listens to you - guides when needed - and it's just an absolute pleasure to do business with. You know you're paying top dollar and you don't care - 'cause you know you'll get top quality.
