Thumbs up

A lot of these pictures were before my time (born in 77), but the raw emotions and feelings I get looking at these true muscle cars, gassers, etc. I just don't get from looking at todays "new" musclecars. Its almost like getting laid for the first time all over again. I would've loved to have been around in those days.

My dad tells me stories of how he and his brothers would take their derby cars and just drive them through the neighborhood and everyone including the cops would just give the thumbs up. Or swapping out rearends to race and changing them back so the cops couldn't bust them. "What posi marks officer, this here is a one-legger. Won't be no racing on that." Lol

Todays cars just don't do it, if you had a SuperSport, Hemi, or any of the special order cars back then, you had something special. Today, everything is a SuperSport or has a Hemi. Where's the heritage at? I apologize Marty for the long winded post. The pictures are GREAT!

No Apology needed I posted them up for everyone to enjoy and make comments. It would be cool if people picked out there favorites and posted them on this thread. There are just way to many for me to post.

Marty,
You said you have 5000 or so pics on your web site. What is the address of this web site? I would love to browse them.
