BTW --- Jacks late model Mustang runs circles around Charlie and my "old vintage iron"... his tires are twice as wide -- the car is all aero -- big down force wing - more horsey power...

It sounds and looks awesome on the track.

Has to be Sonoma (Sears Point). Considered a "technical" track, but I like the variety of turns and elevation changes; plus the location in the wine country is perfect. Laguna Seca is a close second, but my car can not make the very restrictive sound limitations. Thunderhill is the most user friendly and best for new drivers; minimal concrete barriers and plenty of runoff area. Autoclub speedway incorporates a road course that includes about 2/3 of the high speed oval. Running the high speed oval is a lot of fun. Willow Springs, called the fastest tract in the West is challenging and you can really mess up your car if you get off track; plus the wind and sand blows a lot.
