Thanks for checking on me Ron. Well guys, I'm back after making a 28 hours round trip haul in 2 days all by my lonesome. I was just me and a radio to listen to. Anyways, here are a few pics for now. Not blowing my own horn, but this frame is awesome. This thing is built to be beaten on. Although, I'm not a track guy and it won't get beaten on. LOL!! It was all nice and had that sanded down look, but I met some bad rain on the way home, so on a few of the pics you may see some light rust. More pics to come after I take it off of the trailer when I get it to my shop guys place to start fitting the body on Monday. I dare not take this off of the trailer at my house alone.
At Street Rod Garage after getting it loaded onto the U-Haul.
Couldn't resist snapping a few more while getting gas.
Yeah Marcus, I was concerned about the rain, and hoping you had it in an enclosed trailer. That thing is amazing!!! I've never even heard of these guys, and their probably the closest chassis shop to me. Are the prices on their website legit? Looks like I'm going to Texas to check out your ride! This is off the hook!!!
And here we are at 2am after getting home all nestled in the garage where it will sit until Monday when I go drop it off at the shop.
Here are a few close-ups I got before going to bed this morning. LOL!! These are the ones where the rain caused the surface rust. It'll all be sandblasted before it blown apart to get powdercoated.

Yeah Scott, they are the real deal prices. That's why I chose them...great prices. And as I've said before...a great bunch of guys to work with. Just some good, ole down to earth country boys from Alabama.
#2 -- I wiped down a chassis (for my '37 Ford) with WD40 about 5 years ago and it has absolutely ZERO rust on it - no flash rush - no anything. It came home after loading it in my trailer in the rain - (thus the "water dispersing WD). I'm still surprised - because I live in the Pacific NorthWET.
That frame is a killer ! is there a room exhaust over the rearend?

Thanks Greg. I made sure my little cheapo digital camera had batteries in it this time. Ron called me before I left Thursday and told me to get some WD-40 too. But, I was running late, so I never stopped to get any and the rain was waiting for me head on.

Masi, my exhaust is designed to run under the IRS. There are two cut outs on the bottom of the back plates holding the 9" housing for 3" exhaust. I'll get some pics of it when I get the detailed shots Monday.
