That's kinda funny. I have no clue I will have to ask her

I did you use it to shoot pictures of the Torino at Rad Rides and by far they are the best pictures I have ever taken.

The Canon L series are top-end professional lenses. Even with a middle of the road camera you should get very good images with that glass. If she has the camera body to match the lens you should make sure it's insured.

Sieg -- your camping trip shot reminded me of one I took in Italy last summer --- that yellow lighting can be really effective if you can capture some contrast with it. I like simple shots --- seems you do too.

The beauty of digital photography is that you can just pick up the camera and go shoot stuff.... change the settings and shoot some more. If they suck - you hit delete. If you get one shot that says "it's okay" GREAT!

Tonight in my backyard....

Good pics Greg.

It's amazing what these cameras can capture and how one can manipulate the exposure variables........but nothing makes up for capturing nature's light at the moment.

Your photos from the F1 trip were what inspired me to upgrade cameras. Some of the shots you posted without flash in low light set the hook.

Charley has some saying -- I can't remember it -- about him always being willing to help SOMEONE ELSE spend their money. He's real good at it!

Glad I could help!
