Default 1970 Charger Project

Heres a new project that can be mine anytime I want it. This is a car of my dads that he doesn't feel has the money to complete so he asked me if I would. So I thought i'd post some pictures. What I know is its got a 440 auto trans not sure which one. 8 3/4 rear I think sounds right. I don't see much happening on this for probably a year.

That's how it sits now. So well see what happens.

Iconic cars for sure.

What would you do to it and how would you use it?

So much potential there! This should be fun to watch.

The only thing I'm 100 % on is air ride. Its possible that it will go back to my dad. Or ill Just use it. It will be fun because I've never ever thought about owning one. The wife showed more interest in this then when I bought the camaro.

Well I will bring this back from the dead. Its funny how time flies, over 3 years. I first posted about this car in May of 2013. It hasn't moved from the location it was in then. But I have decided its time to show it some love. Tomorrow morning I'm going to get it and bring it to my house. I haven't come up with much of a plan yet. I really don't need another car but I can't stand to see it rot into the ground at my dad's place any longer. I'll post up some pictures soon. I haven't had a project since this other Mopar.

It was high school and it turned out pretty cool. I hope this one turns out better yet.

I know the picture is too big. I worked all last night and have to go back in at 9 tonight and have not slept yet. I need to get some sleep, I will fix it later sorry.
The whole time my Dad wanted me to get a muscle car rather then the Neon. Oh well.

Well it made it home. I'm having trouble getting pictures to upload to the site I use so I'll post some more later.

Since there was only one auto trans that fits behind a 440 your options are pretty limited. Torqueflite 727.
