Morning Chris,

This car is looking great.

I was just about to ask you about the gas tank. Will this tank be specific to your chassis because the car sits so low. In other words did you reduce the overall height of the tank vs the stock tank. I am working on Chevelle with a buddy and the tank is scrapping the ground and we are looking for a solution.

Hey Marty-

This tank will be specific to my chassis.. We just built the tank to look the best for the rear section of the car.. requires more modification to mount but wanted to keep the volume of fuel in the tank.. Basically we grabbed as much area we could & moved the sump of the tank to the front..

It will make more sense when I mount it in place..

That is what I thought.

Looks like we will be making a custom tank as the Ricks tank sits way to low

Marty, I'm dealing with a design now as well due to the IRS on my chassis. I knew I would have to get a custom tank, but I'm wanting to keep the volume like Chris said.

Were looking at doing a mustang style tank and dropping it into the trunk floor. Just raise the darn thing up and it should solve the problem.
